Oysters can be eaten raw; to serve, place shucked half shell oysters on cracked ice to serve.

Oysters can be steamed open by placing them in a pierced steamer over boiling water until the shells open. They can be roasted on the grill until they open.

Oysters can be cooked in a conventional oven or microwave until heated thoroughly. For plump, tender oysters; cook only until edges begin to curl.

Oysters can be fried in a batter made from flour, eggs, breading and a number of complimentary seasonings.
