July 20, 2023Virginia Eat More Oysters Initiative!

The Virginia Marine Products Board will be participating in a Virginia Cooperative Extension program highlighting Virginia Oysters. This program will be a free online services where viewers will be able to learn about how important Oysters are for our Chesapeake Bay ecosystem, how valuable Oysters are to Virginia’s commercial seafood industry, and all of the health benefits associated with Oysters. This web series will also explain to viewers how to shuck Oysters, all of the various cooking methods, and delicious recipes they can try at home. This a three part series with part one on August 9th, part two on August 16th, and part three on August 23rd. Click on the attached flyer below to register.
