Happy Thanksgiving from the VMPB. Today we are thankful for our wonderful commercial watermen who are often times forced to miss events with their families, be ready at the crack of dawn to spend the long day braving the elements, always changing and sometimes dangerous weather conditions to provide us Virginians with the seafood products that we love. One of those delicious products is the Virginia Oyster. It’s appropriate that November is Virginia Oyster Month because many Virginians couldn’t imagine Thanksgiving without some fresh local Virginia Oysters fried up on the dinner table or delicious Oyster stuffing.
